This Under the Sea Bundle includes a $150 gift card to the Denver Downtown Aquarium and priceless handmade sea creatures! Although we have to list an estimated retail value, this auction item includes adorable sea critters made by Amelia, one of JRLP's 7th grade students (and one of our PTSO Student Representatives!). Amelia generously donated the time and crocheting talent to create these adorable sea creatures! Therefore, we consider this donation PRICELESS! Take a journey under the sea with this gift card and crocheted sea creatures! They make great toys, keychains, and decorations and are the perfect gift for lovers of handmade items and nautical decor. This set of four sea creatures is displayed in a small tank (est. retail value of the tank is $7.86). Description of each of the critters: Turtle: A green and brown sea turtle about four inches long from head to tail. Pattern by One Cent Crochet. Jellyfish: A pink and magenta jellyfish measuring about 3.5 inches from the longest tentacle to the tip of its head. Pattern by Sweet Softies. Tropical fish: A yellow and blue striped fish. It's the smallest and measures three inches long from head to tail. Pattern by Ada's Handmade. Manta ray: A gray and white manta ray, seven inches long from head to tail. It's the longest member of the gang. Pattern by Theresa's Crochet Shop. Feel free to use the tank for other things or as a display! IMPORTANT - Safety Info from Amelia: These are made of yarn, so giving them to pets or very small children is not recommended. They might swallow the yarn and choke. Take it from me - my cat Prince swallowed a string once and had to get surgery. The animals are attached to the tank's roof by fishing line. When you want to use them, cut the line off and untie it. I don't have the washing instructions for this yarn, but you should probably wash them on the delicate/knit cycle.
